BEGINNING A HOME BUSINESS
THIS IS HOW I STARTED
When I started I knew nothing about Internet. Everybody around me kept saying that Internet was going to be the future, and many beginned to build a web page or were beggining a home business.
So I decided to have a web page of my own, even though I didn´t have the slightest idea about how to do it, but I like the challenges and I like to discover and study new things.
Little did I know at the time, that the software that I was about to purchase some months later, would become so powerful and would allow me to begin earning a fantastic income from my web site...
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that thousands of people would be reading my web site each month. And I never expected to earn money from my writting without selling anything. (Today I have many e-books that I didn´t have when I was starting).
As almost everybody does, I started experimenting with simple websites on free webspace that I had with my ISP account.
But looking for a better service, many times I decided to switch my Internet provider, and each time that I did it, I had to switch my website to the new host, change my email address and learn the new hosting system every time, loosing many visitors that never found my site any more.
One day I read that I needed to have my own domain if I was going to begin a serious home business. And I realized that I also needed a hosting company that I could stick with.
And while looking around the Internet I came upon Site Build It! and after comparing the features of many of the high profile competitors of SBI, it wasn´t a tough decision to make.
They help me break through all the "web hosting noise" (the promotion of web host´s package of tools hastily assembled, difficult to use, and many times useless), and they gave me an all-in-one, integrated, complete set of software tools that removed the need for tech expertise, SE mastery etc., and that left me time to work on the more creative aspects of my web site development.
Beginning the creation of a web site can be complicated or simple, it all depends on whom we trust. This was the way that I begun, and I hope that this knowledge will help you. To me was the beginning of my independence, because I started to earn good money doing something that I love, that it is MINE, and where I can work when I want, and as much as I want.
